Halo Enterprises Inc. is a locally owned business operating in the North Peace Region offering Hazardous Materials Assessments, which includes the inspection of asbestos, lead, mould, mercury, PCBs, radon, air quality, and air monitoring during abatement activities (lead & asbestos). All inspectors have received adequate training and follow WorkSafeBC Guidelines and AHERA Inspector Protocol.

Radiant Labs Inc. offers the analysis of suspect asbestos-containing materials using inter-provincially regulated methodologies (EPA 600/R-93/116, NIOSH 9002), as well as the analysis of air contents during abatement activity (NIOSH 7400, following the NIOSH 582 training). All lab technicians have received training appropriate for the methodology requested. Radiant Labs follows a robust Quality Assurance Program and follows CALA Accreditation protocols.

Hazardous Materials Assessments/Surveys
Our long-term goal is to provide services that help our region safely and properly identify Hazardous Materials in the workplace and in our homes!  Halo Enterprises Inc. offers Hazardous Material Assessments/Survey's for Residential, Commercial, Industrial, and the Oil & Gas Industry. Assessments are available for Asbestos, Lead, Mercury, Mould, Air Quality, and PCB's.

Asbestos Analysis- Polarized Light Microscopy
Radiant Labs analyzes suspect containing material for asbestos contents. Radiant follows approved methodologies accepted by interprovincial/federal guidelines: EPA 600/R-93/116, or NIOSH 9002 (<1%).
Air Sampling- Phase Contrast Microscopy
Radiant Labs analyzes air filters for fibres/particulate using an approved methodology (NIOSH 7400). This analysis assists abatement contractors in establishing baselines of air quality and particulate within the air prior to the start of abatement activity, if they are keeping particulate levels within an acceptable range during abatement activity, and if it is safe for them to deconstruct their containments, and have the area reoccupied safely.
